Our Photographic Workshops
Do you enjoy photography but feel you could get more from your images? Do you love your current genre of photography but want to try something new? Or are you simply looking for an enjoyable, educational day out?
Our small group photography workshops are designed for both the novice and seasoned photographer!
We hold our workshops in well known locations that have 'essentially' become our extended back yard. Using a jargon free and an informal, relaxed approach we will teach you the art of composition, exposure and how to get the most from your camera to produce creative images.
Our full day workshops always include either a breakfast or light lunch depending on which workshop you choose and lots of adventure, bags of humour but plenty of advice and tips. Oh, and the ever unpredictable English weather is also included free of charge too!!

Introduction to Digital Photgraphy £65
1 Day photography workshop – was £95 now only £65 for a limited time.
Ok, so you have just bought a new DSLR or are considering an upgrade to a DSLR. Often people are frustrated with their images when they first use a DSLR because they end up worrying about the many settings and options and rely on the full ‘Auto’ mode.
The modern DSLR can appear so complex and confusing at first, sometimes intimidating which can often turn you away from photography altogether. This course is aimed at easing those worries and to get you out of the ‘Auto’ mode and start taking creative images that you will be pleased with. This Introduction to Digital Photography workshop is ideal for the beginner or novice.
During the workshop you will learn
The course is designed to get you using your camera creatively. We will guide you through the various camera controls, introduce you to elements needed for good exposure and how to create pleasing compositions. The course is predominantly practical based with a 1-2hour theory session. People learn by doing and not being talked to. You’ll leave with a new found confidence and be inspired and excited about using your camera skills to produce your own great images.
The day includes going out on location so suitable clothing should be worn - the unpredictable british weather is included FREE of charge!!
The workshop will run from 9am with meet and greet followed by a brief theoretical session. We will then head out to a local spot that we know provides ample photographic opportunities. We will work on all the elements covered earlier and there will be ample time with each student on a one-to-one basis answering any questions you may have. A light lunch will be taken in a local Café and is included in the cost of the course. During lunch images can be loaded onto our iPad for group appraisal (if you wish) and we can discuss your efforts so far.
After lunch we will continue to work on our skills until 4pm where the course will end and you will go home with memory cards full of fantastic images and a head full of new found knowledge.

For some the idea of a group workshop is a little daunting or maybe you need a little more bespoke training. Thats why I offer 1-2-1 tution which can be held in my home studio, at your home or out on location. You can choose either half day, a full day or a combination of half days. Model hire can be arranged if required at an additional small cost.
