Charity Photoshoot in aid of JDRF
Rob Ferrol Photography is creating a fantastic opportunity for photographers while at the same time raising some much needed funds for a worthy charity.
I have organised a group of models to come together for a mass TFP/CD photoshoot at the beautiful Rufford Abbey Country Park on the 5 May 2012. This represents a fantastic portfolio building opportunity and the chance to work with professional models.
The event is being organised to raise funds for the Childrens charity JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundatation. A charity that is close to my heart as it exists to find a cure for type 1 Diabetes, a condition which my 4 year old son Andrew was diagnosed with just over a year ago and has a huge impact on his daily life.
To form the basis of the donation I am asking for a registration fee of £20 per photographer. When you consider the benefits of having the opportunity to shoot various models in a fantastic setting this is a very small sum to ask and spaces will be limited so everyone gets plenty of time with each model to capture some stunning images. With this in mind prior registration and payment will be required.
I am also hoping to have a few professional photographers who can help and assist you to get the shots you want and also guidance on off camera flash and posing etc. This still has to be confirmed at present.
If you are a photographer, amateur or professional, and would like to be involved in this very worthy cause while at the same time add a huge selection if images to your portfolio then get in touch, we'd love to have you join us.
Tickets can be purchased by cash, cheque, via Justgiving.com or paypal.
By taking part photographers agree to provide models with a CD/email with a selection of images taken during the photoshoot.
There is still lots to plan for this event and updates will be posted here and on my facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/robferrolphotography"
